one of my friends that is a Cure fan reckons this is the best cover anyone has done of Fascination Street
Chimaira does a horrible cover of this song. It was never meant to be done in a metal version. They completely ruin it by making it heavy, screaming parts, and they even throw off the rhythm in a lot of parts. RavenGT you are absolutely wrong, it is not about a doomed relationship, it is about New Orleans and the way Rober Smith (the original writer of the song) felt about performing in front of so many people. Slipmaira, your friend who is a Cure fan is an idiot, this is an absolutely shitty cover. Period.
Meh... I reely like it, n I love the cure one too. I actualy herd this before I herd the origional, but I grown to love em both. I think what Chimaira do with the riff is AWESUM! plays it with his trusty air guitar Evil ducky load... Well your entitled to your own opinion. Your dead right bout its meaning man.
the good thing about a cover that the band leaves its mark on the song...i mean whats the point if chimaira would sing it like the original one?
