i dont think it's good life gone horrible wrong... it sounds more like a battle with depression for a long time where the person tried to do something in the beginning but at this stage it doesn't matter anymore. either way, the song is awesome. my favorite Chimaira song.

It's about attempted suicide. When it says "white to grey," it means that they are between life (color white) and death (color black, which isn't directly said). The person in the song seemed to be pushed to suicide by their own destructive thoughts.
