We know what know one else does . We are the HOT WATER MUSIC FANS AND WE STAND STRONG. But we stand practicly alone and thats the only way it can be. It is great that not everyone understands you because not everyone diserves to be saved by you like i was. I have realized so much since listening to you guys . You have changed my life . And i am so envious that you are so positive and everything i could ever strive to become. The few that know the truth. we love you HWM . and always will .thank you for all you have writen and for singing your heart out for what you beleve in. You will always be remmembered by the people that understand you. We have faith because of you and only in you. Though i dont think that you will ever get to see the true impact you have on your few fans. I am glad you can see us singing our hearts out with you at your shows. I can only say one last thing that sums you up into one word TRUTH.

It's nothing to do with 'filters' as the song is acutally called 'Eating The Filler'. It's just about being desperate for something, he mentions food and eating, but it could be a hunger for anything. The title confuses me too, the only thing that I can think of is that he's so hungry, he's eating the sealent (filler) around his bath! Maybe i'm just crazy too.

perhaps next time someone isnt sure about a word or meaning of a title...I don't know, look it up maybe...idiots. Words have multiple meanings too...its not merely a sealent... For example, one defintion is "copy to fill space between more important articles in the layout of a magazine or newspaper" and another is filler "refers to episodes in a continuity-based series that are not required to understand the basic story arcs." Obviously, it is fluff, insignificant material that diverts from the reality of things, meaning, etc...I don't know, the reoccuring theme that HWM always sing about. Hmm and if you are unconvinced...how about the first line..."how could i fill myself with nothing?"...translation...how could I fill myself with...i don't know FILLER...
Filler is the extra shit you get in records, cds, like catalogs and fliers. Like starving looking around your house and you see your records and quite possibly eat the filler from them to sate your hunger.
i think this song is titled as so because supposedly drinking bong water is the equivalent of eating a cigarette filter. maybe im just crazy
