There's a little child
Running round this house
And he never leaves
He will never leave
And the fog comes up from the sewers
And glows
In
The dark

Baby alligators
In the sewers
Grow up fast
Grow up fast
Anything you want, it can be done
How
How did you go bad?
Did you go bad?
Did you go bad?

Some things will never wash away
Did you go bad?
Did you go bad?

This song is about the child in all of us. How we were warped and stunted and how we perpetuate it on our own kids. The child that will never leave, runs around the house being dictated stupid decisions, the alligators that are flushed in the toilet once someone is bitten...Anything you want it can be done...Doesn't matter mommy will get you a baby rhino. The fog, I can't help but to interprete it as clouded vision, like an autistic child, which will never leave the house. Did you go bad? Who's fault was it? Doesn't really matter since you're stuck in the sewers. What a beautifully depressing song. But thank god for songs like THERE THERE
