i can totally relate to this song, i think its just about doing something you thought was fine but it ended up being the total wrong thing to do and you are realizing it and its too late cause shes already gone and you want her back to show her that you really do care for her but shes done left

The Title: Richard Marx was a singer in the late 80's or early 90's. It's just word play on his name.
First of all: What happened to the middle part of the song?
Second of all: The title isn't simply "word play" on Richard Marx' name... Marxism is basically communism as seen through the eyes of Karl Marx, a very famous man in the history of the world... ever heard of him? you should have.
