why would the song be entitled "swy" if he was saying slide?

Why would he say dan though? Dann Gallucci didn't join the band til later and I can't think of any other dans he could be talking to

Did he actually mess up on the last line? Or was that on purpose?

I think thats what he's saying.And "SWY" because combinding sometimes y...and y has a w sound kinda and... yea i think you get it.

don't overanalyze it. he obviously just messed up, like we do, combining sounds or missplacing words. It happens to me all the time. This one's just funny because he said it's gonna suck

i thought when he said swy he was saying slide- you know? because dan was using the slide guitar. doesnt really sound like it anymore, though. it just sounds like swy.
