Walking around I hear the Earth seeking relief
I'm trying to find a reason to live
But the mindless clutter my path
Oh these thorns in my side
Oh these thorns in my side
I know I have something free
I have something so alive
I think they shoot 'cause they want it
I think they shoot 'cause they want it
I think they shoot 'cause they want it

I feel forces all around me
Come on raise your head
Those who hide behind the shadows
Live with all that's dead

Look at me, look at me,
Look at me (At least look at me when you shoot a bullet)
(Through my head, through my head, through my head)

In my lifetime when I'm disgraced
Jealousy and lies
I laugh aloud 'cause my life
Has gotten inside someone elses mind

Look at me, look at me,
Look at me (At least look at me when you shoot a bullet)
(Through my head, through my head, through my head)

Hey all I want is what's real
Something I touch and can feel
I'll hold it close and never let it go
Said why, why do we live life
With all this hate inside
I'll give it away 'cause I don't want it no more
Please help me find a place
Somewhere far away
Yes, I'll go and you'll never see me again

Look at me,
Look at me (At least look at me when you shoot a bullet)
(Through my head, through my head, through my head)
Look at me,
Look at me (At least look at me when you shoot a bullet)
(Through my head, through my head, through my head)

Look at me
Look at me

People do have their own opinions about what is good, for example, you like dashboard confessionals, I however think they are terrible and can't sing, but i'm not trying to sway you to listen to whoever..everyone has their own opinions...accept that man, but i know you'll respond with some comment about how i don't know what i'm talking about or how i'm a fucking loser or something, so you swayed me away from creed

Since this is SONGMEANINGS.com not FIGHTOVERSONGSANDSCREENNAMES.com I will explain the meaning. The meaning of this song is about people such as Fred Durst who talked shit about Scott and the rest of Creed. One night Fred came on stage or something during a show and said that Scott sucked. When he said "At least look at me when you shoot a bullet through my head." He just saying, " Next time you talk shit about me, say it to my face, bitch ass motherfucker."

both you guys need to get some lives and chill out, i'm not a huge creed fan but who cares what the kid puts down, you are probably two dudes who have no friends because you spend all your time ripping on other people's stuff, even so, if you guys aren't creed fans what are you doing looking at thier lyrics and criticizing people's interpretations whatever they may be...let it go

this song is great. and im really happy that these guys put it out on the radio.. because everyone and their mom these days listens to creed. i was suppose to see them tonight in nj but the show got thrown to the 23rd.. so i can just imagine what the crowd will be like LOL

but anywho, i love the song. its hard. and it keeps creed within the hardcore rockers' stereos. id like to see them play this song on an adult top 40..... LOL

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
