I understand what you guys are trying to say but i disagree. I think that it was written as a warning to over-sensitive girls. It's showing how ridiculous some relationships are and emphasizing the fact that if you stick with someone who keeps hurting you, they'll keep doing it. The whole emo section in the beginning is saying that asshole guys have feelings too, but that doesnt mean they'll treat you any better
