He did too write it, it was a parody of "Free as a Bird". He had asked McCartney if he could parody this song, and MacCartney turned the decision over to Yoko Ono, and she felt that she wasn't very comfortable with a parody of the song just yet. He there fore never released it, but he does sing it in concert sometimes.
