This song was the theme song for the movie that weird al made, called "UHF". As you probably didn't know if you havent seen the movie, the movie isnt weird al being VERY weird, so it is a good balanced movie. The movie goes like this: Weird al plays a man named George, who is always daydreaming, and keeps getting fired from all the jobs he gets. Along with George, his friend, Bob, also keeps getting fired, because of George. They try to find a new job, and eventually George's Uncle, Harvey, wins the deed to a pathetic TV station in a poker game. They cant find anyone to run it, so George's Aunt, makes her husband let George run the station. Upon ariving, they find a quiet genius named Filo, who runs all the equipment at the station. Well anyways, the station is practially broke, and they are going to have to close down, when they discover that the kids really like the tv show put on by the janitor, Stanley, called Stanly Spadowski's Clubhouse. The show is a hit and they start using more tv shows like Wheel of Fish and Bowling for Burgers, and the station becomes first in the ratings. Meanwhile... Harvey is gambling again, and he ends up owing $75,000. He needs the money, so he decides to sell the tv station. The competitors at chanel 8, want the station, because they used to be #1. They offer $75,000 dollars for it, and Harvey accepts. His wife yells at him, and he has to give George a chance to buy the station. So they have a big telethon, and Stanley ends up being kidnapped, but all is good in the end. If you havent seen this movie, you should go out and rent it. Its a great movie!
UHF is one of my all time favorite movies. "Now you get to drink from the firehose!!!"
