When I first heard this song, my first thought was that it was referring to death. But when I listened to it again, I realised it was about Nazism and Hitler. At the beginning before the singing starts you can hear 'Ein, zwei, drei, HA!' In German, this means 'One, two, three'. I think the bunker is talking about how Hitler killed himself, in a bunker with his girlfriend Eva while Soviet soldiers advanced. 'Waiting for the final solution' is talking about what the Nazis called 'the final solution to the Jewish problem' meaning genocide of the Jewish race. 'Waiting to smash in their windows and kick in their doors' is talking about Kristallnacht, which was a pogrom organised by the Nazi party to vandalise all Jewis property. Kristallnacht means 'Crystal night', and it was called that for all the broken glass after it was over.
