@Lateralus518 Pink Floyd became a very different band after Syd left and so there are two different audiences. The majority of people who call themselves Pink Floyd fans like their music from Dark Side of the Moon (maybe Meddle) through The Wall (or even the Division Bell). The music they made from Piper through Meddle or at least Atom Heart Mother, was way more experimental. So it's no big surprise to me that a lot of people don't get the early music. Even the band themselves don't get Atom Heart Mother, which I think is brilliant!
