The instrumentals have that epic build-up that I love about RBF.
The song is probably another "I broke up with you but I'm still in love with you" song that is actually referring to a producer or manager or something. There's definitely a pattern here.
I feel like the song is about how the singer is basically bitter about getting into another relationship/friendship because he has been hurt in the past. "Oh not you again, it gets worse every time". "You keep telling me that it's so easy to forget it, you keep telling me but I know I'll always regret it". He's regretful that he got into relationships with people and things went sour, now he has negative feelings lingering in him.
Awesome song, by the way. I love how the lyrics are very sad and negative but the music and the way it is sung is so happy and cheerful.
