Störagéd Lyrics

The spine, a line, the fetus is mine,
Don't forget me
Don't forget me
Don't forget me
Don't forget revolt,
Revolt,
Revolution, counter revolution
Counter counter revolution
The mind,
Mind the mind that feeds the blind,
And helps you find,
And makes you bind,
The game,
Is on,
The game is on, the game is on,
The game is on, the game is on,

The spine, a line the fetus is mine (x 4)

A life, denied,
Comatosis, comatosis, comatosis,
Comment on my word, define,
My words define, my words define,
My words define, my words define
The line, the line,
Revolution, counter revolution,
Counter counter revolution,
Solution,
Dissillusioned by pollution,
Resolution starting with the

Spine, a line the fetus is mine,
The spine, a line the fetus is mine(x 6).

The song is probably refering to stem cell research. Stem cell uses aborted fetuses, mainly their spines, and it is believed that they may hold the key to curing some diseases. The basic way it works is that because the fetus isn't fully developed yet, the cells it is made up of aren't either, blank cells if you will; I guess the idea is to manipulate the cells to create the ones you need to fill in the gaps in cures and stuff.. or something like that. I don't know much more about it than that but I think that that is what "Storaged" refers to.

I happen to like this song, I will admit it is not the best I have heard from System but it's still a good song, just like any other song of theirs, it has a deeper meaning... to me it means, this child is mine, I can't forget the family line, the child is mine... at least thats what it struck me as meaning....

I think it's a very weak song that SOAD didn't really work hard on... like it was thrown together in the last couple of minues during thier "Self-Titled" album sessions. It's only like minute or so, given a few seconds.

To sepl "Storaged" is about being born into the seperatness of human life, then choosing (a line/align), and becoming part of life's "revolution, counter revolution, counter counter revolution"! Perhaps "a life denied" symbolizes someone being deafeated and giving way for society's views -hence comatosis (not abortion)! We must "Define! The line!" or fall in! This is one of my favorites, though musically it does seem thrown together and could use a tune up (as do many people!) Mad Props to S O A d !
