in Spain is this a big problem, greyhounds have to race and if they're not fast enough... they will be hanged. sometimes they even do that when they win it's really sad.
the first 2 words of the song's lyrics explain the meaning : it's (a dream) with no real logic or meaning.... it's just Ogre playing with combinations of words for great effect and disjointed imagery. how the first poster above came to that "story" conclusion, is a total mystery to me....
I think I have to agree with SkinnyPuppy91 about the greyhounds problem.
Got to say I agree with SkinnyPuppy91, it would fit with the title and the album theme of anti-animal cruelty. And it does sound like a problem.
This song kind of has a story. It's about a druggy who loves his drug ridden illusions. Loves them some much he devotes most of his time to them and turns into a slave of them. And despite warnings he kept on until he overdosed and ended up crippled, dead, or permanately insane
