i think that this songs about a guy and girl who started a relationship and then all of a sudden, she starts running away and plays stupid games on him, but then always comes back to him in the end, and hes getting tired of it. he's just so connected/drawn or attached to her because she's different than other girls that hes too blind to see that its time to move on. she's probably always sad because she realizes what she's doing but cant help herself, and realizes that nothings progressing or changing for the better. until the end, he realizes that he wont put up for more, that the relationship aint going nowhere, and that they're better off as friends.
