Watch the Sky for Me (feat. Ginger Fish & Malachi Throne) Lyrics
watch the sky for me
watch the night
i'll be there for you
in starlight
as you feet touch the ground
i'll be floating along
watch the sky for me
tonight
just as every moment leads you to the past
just as everything has gone
i'm the one you need
to know that there is someone else
just as this is now
goodbye
watch the night
i'll be there for you
in starlight
as you feet touch the ground
i'll be floating along
just as everything has gone
i'm the one you need
to know that there is someone else
just as this is now

every band has a song that is odd from the rest.. this would be PM5k's..
and i think he says 'good night' at the end.. not goodbye
This song sounds like it is some guy on the phone [cuz that is how it sounds] on the phone talking to some chick that broke up with him or something along those lines...either way..it sounds like some guy on the phone :)
He does say goodnight at the end.
this song is cool. kinda funny when u realize that it is pm5k
The way this song is doen is really clever i recon. It sounds similar to old songs, something in the 40's odd, and with the Album being based on the 1940's idea of what the 21st Century would be like, it ends of the album perfectly.
In the middle of the song he says goodbye, then at the end he says goodnight...
This entire track is a time span of 5 minutes and 19 seconds. This song falls dead-silent at exactly 3 minutes and 47 seconds into the track. But as soon as it reaches 4 minutes and 20 seconds, you notice an interesting hidden song coming. It goes...
" I am not atoned here The world of the dead is a lonely place for the living
I... am... not... atoned... here...
the world... of the dead... is a lonely... place... for the living...
The world of the dead is a lonely place for the living "
A perfectly fitting ending to a sadistic album.
This song is fantastic because it's so different from everything else they sing. Sounds sort of 40s, and sort of talking-through-a-telephone.
This whole album is about being controlled, and they make the point about people being to busy about there own small life. At the end of the abulm, things go back to normal, complaining, talking to girlfreind,a guy ocupied with his own small life not caring about government controll. It is also creepy, because of the alien theme some people have mentioned.
