How good is that opening line?
"Celebrate your own decay" basically means, I think, that it's okay if you're going on the wrong track...it's possible to get back, and don't give up on yourself. It may be considered a very "pop" beat, but the message is more "punk" than punk itself...and i hate using labels
good song...but the lyrics here is missing a line: in the beginning after the line "icon is last chance for hope" right after its supposed to say "when theres no such thing as heros"

Well it seems to be about suicide but i think the meaning is about being stuck in a dead end in life
This song is about, 'the ship is going down' and lets all have a good time on our way down. I mean 'Philosophy’s a liar when Your home is your headstone' says it all it's about releazing that one day we're all going to die and we only get so little time while we're here. I think it's about fuck all the pre madonnas and goodie goodies trying to look good and make everything last and stay the same forever, it's about likeing who you are and make the most of what you can on the ride down.

i agree with quicksilver but i also think its sort of a redemption song for the band talking bout how drugs have effected their lives
