Jingle Bells Lyrics

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way,
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh,
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way,
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
We're dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh
All the fields we go
Laughing all the way.
Bells on bob-tail ring
Making spirits bright
Oh what fun it is to sing
A sleighing song tonight.
Oh Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way,
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh,
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way,
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
A day or two ago
I thought I'd take a ride
And soon Miss Fanny Bright
Was seated by my side;
The horse was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed his lot,
We ran into a drifted bank
And there we got upsot.
"Upsot"?
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way,
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh,
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way,
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh.
Dashing through, the fields of white
On this happy Christmas night
Off we go through the snow
Bells are ringing, but we're singing
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle bells, Jingle bells Jing jangle
Jingle bells, Jingle bells Jing jangle
Jingle bells, Jingle bells Jing jangle
Jingle bells, Jingle bells Jing jangle
JJJJJJJingle bells, JJJJJJangle bells
JJJJ al the way
Jingle all the way,
In a one-horse open sleigh

You had better be talkin' about Barbara and NOT the song. It's the most simple yet upbeat Christmas track, and it's been enjoyed by generations of people, especially children. And who the heck doesn't like to go on a sleigh ride??? Scrooge or the Grinch perhaps.

@HairyPalmJoe I am a vegan, and I go on a sleigh ride only when no non-human animal is pulling it. And who says Xmas track? It was composed to be a Thanksgiving song.

Her version actually mentions Christmas. Aha! That\'s why this song has been mistaken as a Christmas song. It is actually about Thanksgiving. That\'s what James Pierpoint thought when he wrote it.

@seeing Correct! And ain’t Barbra Jewish? Oy vey!
