I'm not sure about the meaning, Exp's comment makes sense, but I also think it could be interpreted as a guy that just kinda starts losing it and locks himself away to think about everything. Either way, it's a great song!

i think its about taking a day off(like a holiday) from your social life to try to get away from the shit that frustrates you and just relaxe and forget about it to try to calm yourself down cuz your life is making you go crazy and you just need some time alone, know what im sayin?
This song's about psychopaths, of the insensitive pathological liar kind. The guys who are quick to make fun of someone in a serious manner, then rant on about a trip he took to another country and had "one woman here another there". They tell everyone this story and can't tell the difference between strangers and their best friends because they betray everyone.
