Listening to these lyrics - the meaning of the song is pretty obvious, and is dealing with something that a lot of people can relate to. In my opinion, this song is about him seeing a girl but wanting someone else, possibly an ex, who is also seeing a different guy. He is not happy in his present relationship, and feels depressed and blah blah blah - basically he wants the other girl back. I personally can relate to this song VERY well... and I'm glad a band has put out such a heavy version of ... "heartache" , LATER

"Those of us who knew him best, talk about him often. I swear the stuff he pulled. Sometimes it makes me sad though and him being gone being gone (or andy...) I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. The fellows are just too bright, and when they fly away the part of you that knows it was a sentence that locked them up, does rejoins.
