Thunder Kiss '65 Lyrics

Well, sweet little sista's high as hell, cheating on a halo
Grind in an odyssey, a holocaust, a heart kicking on tomorrow
And a breakdown agony, I said an ecstasy in overdrive
We're riding on the world, Thunder kissin' nineteen-sixty, five, yeah, wow!
Five, yeah, wow!
The demon warp is
Coming alive
In nineteen-sixty, five, five, five!

Livin' fast and dying young a like an endless poetry.
My motorcycle nightmare freak out inside of me.
My soul salvation, liberation, on the drive.
The power of the blaster, move me faster,
Nineteen-sixty, five, yeah, wow!
Five, yeah, wow!
The demon warp is
Coming alive
In nineteen-sixty, five, five, five!

Oh, shout!
Said
Said yeah! give it back, give it back, now!
Now!
Now!
Yeah, now!
Rollin' like a supersonic, another fool to get down on it.
Pig sweat a million miles, I've got a heart atomic style.
Make it look easy. That's what I said.
A blast of silence explodes in my head

Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!

Give it back, give it back, now!
Give it back, give it back, now!
Give it back, give it back, now!
Give it back, give it back

Step to the moonshine, feeds the hell, the resurrection.
What's new pussy-cat? Can you dig the satisfaction?
Well you can't take it with you, but you can in overdrive.
Yeah, some like it hot. Yeah, twisted, nineteen-sixty, five, yeah, wow!
Five, yeah, wow!
The demon warp is
Coming alive
In nineteen-sixty, five, five, five!

As said up there.. It is definitly a narration of the movie "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" which came out in 1965.

I would reckon it's about Rob, because yes, he was born in January of 1965. Most of the song seems just thrown together, but the line "what's new pussycat, can you dig the satisfaction" is the meshing of a song title and an old saying; "What's New Pussycat?" and "Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back".

The song is mostly a stream of conscience thought like most of White Zombies tunes. This one does have somewhat of a common thread though.

"demon-warp is coming alive in 1965" Rob Zombie was born in 1965

"livin' fast and dying young" Saying often attributed to James Dean killed in a high speed auto accident in 1955

"roll'n like a supersonic" First Concorde prototype began construction in 1965

"what's new pussycat?" Movie and title song released in 1965

"can you dig the satisfaction?" Rolling Stones released Satisfaction in 1965

"some like it hot" Movie starring Marilyn...

Lol, White Zombie wasn't techno, and Rob's a fucking genius. Period.

White Zombie kicked major amounts of ass, it's a shame they called it quits and parted ways. Amazing band, shitloads of talent.

pure acid trip from past memorys

maybe it's rob zombie's fantasy of how legendary his birth was...

he describes in the song that his birth is somewhat related to a thunderkiss... or something like the way Jesus was conceived and born...

is that "little sista" referring to his mother?

or maybe rob is talking about a girl of his age...

but it's also like rob reminiscing on 1965...

i tried too hard, understanding this song... it rocks. WOW! roar

The "Pussycat" parts are inspired by the classic blaxploitation film, "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!", from which most (if not all) of the samples in this song have been taken.

@ModernDandy bro it's just an exploitation film... Not blaxploitation. Blaxploitation films like Shaft, Dolemite, undercover brother... Etc were made for black audiences with a predominantly black cast. There ain't one black person in faster pussycat kill kill. And I'll tell you, I love Rob Zombie but this has nothing to do with black people. Come to think of it I don't remember seeing a black person in any of his films
