No Tell Lover Lyrics
You're my no tell lover
Every night in a different place I'll meet you tender lady
You're my no tell lover
Even though I need you night and day
Walk away if you see me coming, even if it's you I'm lovin'
You're my no tell lover
The little time that we spend together just can't last forever
You're my no tell lover
Even though I need you night and day
Walk away if you see me coming even though it's you I'm lovin'
I can't leave her
I won't live without her
There's nothing left to say
I want her
I can't leave her
You're my no tell lover
Every night in a different place I'll meet you tender lady
You're my no tell lover
Even though I need you night and day
Walk away if you see me coming even though it's you I'm lovin'
I can't leave her
I won't live without her
She's my no tell lover

Pretty obvious...guy's having an affair. He can't be with her, because he's married. He can't be without her...he digs her way too much. Chorus pretty much sums it up.

The brass/horns in this tune are so damn cool, and they are an expression of his feelings/emotions...
For example at 2:14 they show/express his joy/excitement at seeing her and being with her, and then towards the end, at 3:20 they show/express his sadness/regret that they can't really be together...
@bearlyboo not sure what song your listening to but at 2.14 its all instrumental , and 3.20 says nothing about what you say, its the chorus

I always thought it was "My Motel lover"
