Hoochie Coochie Man Lyrics

(Willie Dixon)

yeah
a gypsy once told my mother
before i was born
she said you got a boy child comin'
he's goin' to be a son of a gun
he's goin' make you girls, jump and shout
then the world, then the world, gonna know
what it's all about, yeah
everybody knows i'm it
i'm a hoochie koochie man
everybody knows i'm it
i've got a bad cat bone
i've got a bojo too baby
i got a little jar in the comfort room
we're gonna jump and mess with you
i'm gonna make you girl, fit inside my hand
then the world gonna know
i'm a hoochie koochie man
everybody knows i'm it
i'm a hoochie koochie man
everybody knows i'm it
yeah
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
on the seventh night
of the seventh month
of the seventh week, haha
for the seventh time she said
he was born for good luck
can't you see
i got 700 girlfriends and dolloars
so don't you mess with me
everybody knows i'm here
i'm a hoochie koochie man
every, every, evrybody knows i'm it

This is originally a Hendrix song!?!? NO WAY! Are you sure?

I'm not sure the lyrics are correct, though. Black cat bone, not bad, mojo, not bojo, at least.

I wish people would use the right syntax on these lyrics. NOT i, PLEASE use I!!! LAME LAME LAME...also capitalize the first word of each line...anyway, just a little rant. Ah that felt good.

Really good song....

And the lyrics here are not correct.....

it should be--> An even more widely recorded song by Muddy Waters, called Hoochie Coochie Man, also mentions John the Conqueroo. Its lyrics include:

I got a black cat bone, I got a mojo too, I got the John the Conqueroo, I'm gonna mess with you, I'm gonna make you girls, lead me by my hand, Then the world will know, the Hoochie coochie Man.

..... and black cat, mojo are related with the voodoo/magic and even John the Conqueroo is the term used to ascribe the relation of the roots of the magic in african/american people.....

And this song was also done by Muddy Waters..... :)
