Sister... Sister... (L)
To be free.
To live your life,
The way you want to be.
Will you give,
If we cry?
Will we live,
Or will we.. die?
Ohh...
Jaded hearts
Shoot that love
Stop the bleeding
Ohh...
...brother...
Is there still a part of you that wants to live?
...sister...
Is there still a part of you that wants to give?
...brother...
Is there still a part of you that wants to live?
...sister...
Is there still a part of you that wants to give?
And live our lives
The way we want to...be.. Yeah..
Oh... love love
Oh... love love
Sister... sister....
Brother... brother... brother... brother...brother...
There is no other love no other love like ours...
There's no other love... There's no other love... There's no other love...
There is no other love no other love like ours...
There's no other love... There's no other love... There's no other love...
There's no other love... There's no other love... There's no other love...
There is no love
...brother
Is there still a part of you that wants to live?
...sister...
Is there still a part of you that wants to give?
brother... brother...
...sister...
Is there still a part of you that wants to give?
Besides, all our sons and daughters already know how that feels.
Yeah yeah yeah...
Love love love...

Yeah, aids came to mind when I heard it, at the time it hit the charts in '91, but later I could say it's also about feeling trapped in a world where everything's for sale, how hard it can be to find the peple you really wanna rely on. He's never been a man to put out easy lyrics (what is the opening track "The Beginning" about? Can't say I have a clure but it's a terrific opener) - some of the songs on his first album were about standing up for the idea that love matters much more than money. This one does take that stand on some level, doesn't it?

AIDS never even crossed my mind; crazy, huh? I think it's about people with broken hearts (jaded hearts) and how they hold on to love too long, or can't get into another love

yeah I don't know how people are getting aids from this. Anyway this is the best Seal song I think.

I believe the song is about AIDS.

not good AIDS either man, BAD AIDS, or possibly even GAIDS!!!!!!

My favorite song ever, but prefer the original Adamski with seal. Clever almost miltary drumbeat.

Nothing about AIDS specifically!
The song is pretty straightforward, and is about the damage that all prejudice has

AIDS hadn't crossed my mind either, interesting though. I thought it was about the damage unrequited love & racism can do. Its like he's trying to send a message... a warning if you will.
Man... Seal was light years ahead of anybody else.
