I'm a huge fan of Aaron. He's who I listen to when I am happy His songs are very uplifting. I like a lot of folk and blues Bob Dylan things like that But a lot of that stuff is about unrequited love Sadness, (it's called "the blues" for that very reason) But when I want to listen to a voice of joy and gladness Nobody can beat Aaron Neville. That beautiful, completely unique sound.
I thought this song was pretty straightforward all my life but now realized it's true meaning. It's not about 2 people in love above everything. It's about one's love for God.

This a simple declaration of love, remind me to my friend Wayan who's in love with his girl friend Zizah for about 8 years before finally they're decided to get married. He is a simple man and he gives Zizah a simple thing named "Love"
