Cracking up the palace guard
Talking to the ladies on the boulevard.
Wasted time at Juliard
and we made a record and it really made it hard

Said we had a couple dates
Taking a hiatus in the sunny states
Raining through it's golden gates
Never hesitate, play it on the radio
On the radio

And its never been so hard
my room's a shed in the back yard

Ian Hunter plays with me
I was 12 years old in 1973
Violence and poetry
(Benny Skills) played it for me on the radio

Stuck in the (Palesian) suite
Met the mayor's daughter, she was really neat
Had a picture on (Harles G)
15 minutes later we were crawling down the
street
Crawling down the street

Actually, the line is "Vin Scelsa played it for me on the radio." But the other ones in parentheses, I have no idea what those are. Dagnabbit!!
