Actually, it says on the B-52's site that "tin roof rusted" doesn't mean anything. It's in the FAQ.

"Q: What is Cindy shouting in the break at the end of Love Shack?

A: “Tin roof rusted”. Though people continually want to find the meaning behind her words, “tin roof rusted” was a true spontaneous moment that has managed to resonate to this day. A better question might be what was going through her head at that moment."

I'm not disputing what you think or what they wrote, it just that the lyrics go

"Bang bang" etc, [Getting louder and louder. Sexual?] "You're what?..." [Everything halts as the guy does a double take] "Tin roof, rusted!" [Pregnant]

Its quite a coincidental spontaneous moment.

I thought it was just a stupid song about a like dance shack and the dude has a big ass car,and it's like nappy inside and shit,so you hafta be high or drunk or both to wanna go let alone stay there... wow had no idea that there was a sex theme going on there...blink blink

The 'Love Shack' was the name of the band's first rehearsal space..it was literally a shack!! brilliant band..

No matter what any one says.. that have at least heard this song at one point in time or an other.. and it's a great song .. If I'm in a car with my friends we craken this song up and jam to it.. "LOVE SHACK BABY".. it's a get Dance song :D
