I doubt it. Those are mechanical monsters with high tech weapons, where as "The Sentinel" in the song is using throwing knives.
i reckon its a bout someone (the sentinel) whos family was killed (sworn to avnege) by gangs (challengers) in a city, and the city is in absolute chaos (burned out cars), the sentinel then challenges another gang and pwns them as he has done to many before them
Yeah get a Book of Eli/Road Warrior post-apocolyptic vibe.
Thank God priests kicked the blues out of metal with kick ass songs like this.

I suppose this song was inspired by the robot-sentinels in the X-Men universe. They are pure violence without intelligence and their only mission is to destroy as many mutants they can. Korm2138
