hm, now to the meaning... i think all Suede songs follow a common theme, a pattern if you will, and that is one neverending tale of detached lovers, drug use, sensual bliss and social despair.

This is Suede at their peak,the proof is in the playing. They are firing on all cylinders.
You can hear Bernards guitar deperately trying to be heard against Bretts voice they are battling each other to be heard. It is sooo powerful.
