This song has the potential to be one of the most romantic songs ever, and the dirty dancing closing scene with Johnny singing it to Baby was what gave it that potential. I love it because I know that one day someone will sing it (or lip sync hehe) it to me, and that will be when i get married :-D
This is one of my favorite songs of all time, if not of all time. Dirty Dancing is my favorite movie ever, and I know we all dream about that perfect summer where you fall in love for the first time and finally grow up and become independent. Baby finds herselfin this movie, and the romance between her and Johnny is too cute. Everyine wants to have that time of their life - the time when they finally realize what love is and see that they just had the best time ever. It's such a romantic and fun movie,with one of the best soundtracks of all time. No one has any idea how many times I've seen this movie, over 100, and I never get sick of it - I love it so unbelievably much!

My favourite film in the world is Dirty Dancing, so I love this song because it is from this film. And it fit sperfectly with the ending. But it has a new meanging to me now. I had my Prom the other night and it was the last song. And everyone sang it really loudly and it just summed up my time at my senior school. I did have the time of my life. Cheesy, I know. But looking back...I did. So now when I listen to this song it makes me cry because thanks to all my amazing friends at that school, I had an awesome time there. I know this song is about two people falling in love and that's what it meant to me but now it is about having the best time of your life because of certain people. It's strange how life changes though. And all the people who touch yuor life are only in it for a while. This song is amazing.
