I want to tell you a story
Every man oughta know
If you want a little lovin'
You gotta start real slow
She's gonna love you tonight now
If you just treat her right now

Squeeze her real gentle
Gotta make her feel good
Tell her that you love her
Like you know you should
So if you don't treat her right
She won't love you tonight

If you practice my method
Just as hard as you can
You're gonna get a reputation
As a lovin' man
And you'll be glad every night
That you treated her right

You have GOT to be kidding! No comments? This was very popular years ago. A song about "slow" "gentle" "squeezing" and he's not talkin' about grapefruit :) He's saying give your woman the right kind of lovin' and she's be around forever treatin' her man the way he wants to be treated. (I'm guessin' that means good hot food on the table; good hot sex in and under and over and around the bed; and someone to raise the kiddies:) I luv this GT track!!!

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
