This Is Your Time Lyrics
This was a test we could all hope to pass
But none of us would want to face.
Faced with the choice to deny God and live.
For her there was one choice to make.
This was her time, this was her dance,
She lived every moment, left nothing to chance,
She swam in the sea, drank of the deep,
Embraced the mystery of all she could be.
This was her time.
Though you are mourning and grieving your loss,
Death died a long time ago.
Swallowing life so her life carries on.
But still it's so hard to let go.
This was her time, this was her dance,
She lived every moment, left nothing to chance,
She swam in the sea, drank of the deep,
Embraced the mystery of all she could be.
What if tomorrow? What if today?
Faced with the question, oh, what would you say?
This is your time, this is your dance,
Live every moment, leave nothing to chance.
Swim in the sea, drink of the deep,
Call of the mercy and hear yourself praying,
"Won't you save me? Won't you save me?"
This is your time, this is your dance,
Live every moment, leave nothing to chance.
Swim in the sea, drink of the deep,
Embrace the mystery of all you can be.
This is your time, this is your dance,
Live every moment, leave nothing to chance.
Swim in the sea, drink of the deep,
Embrace the mystery of all you can be.
This is your time.

this song is about our ultimate choice . this was written in detication to Cassie Bernell,@ columbine she had a gun held to her head . the gunman asked her if she belelived in christ , she said yes and paid the ultimate price for her savior . I t reminds us all that we can play games and say we are christians , but are we willing to give it all like she did ? i cry every time i hear this song and it reminds me of what the love of christ can do to a person :)
I absolutely love this song. Cassie was a very inspiring person. I look up to her not only as a martyr, but as a regular person. Long before she was ever in the position to answer the question that cost her life, she was going down a similar path of her murders. She changed, though. And we all know that if Cassie can do it, anyone can. To all 13 of you who died and the countless who were injured, God bless you. I told you we'd make it to the sunshine someday, you just got there a little quicker. And to Eric and Dylan, why did you think it was so great to hurt so many people, including yourselves? I really don't understand how people could be so cruel, and how only two sophmores at a highschool could cause so much damage. To all those who have felt the way I've felt, and had the same pain I've had in their hearts, I'll pray for you. And never forget, the good die young...
