The only thing that I can think about this is that it is metaphoric to the narrator falling in love, the archer being equated with Cupid. Could be totally off base. Kit

What happened to this band? I can't find their CD anywhere; it's like they dropped off the face of the earth. Which is shame, because they are very fantastic. Good song, I agree with the Cupid interpretation.
