Heading for the classroom yesterday
The kids file through the metal machine
It finds what they may hide
No it just ain't right
A sign of the times

Another church is burning to the ground
Looking for the vandals and they're nowhere to be found
But the hate's alive
A sign of the times, Sign of the times
A sign of the times, Sign of the times

Would someone please let me know how we have spun out of control?
Has the captain let go of the wheel?
Or could we please try to find a way to be a bit more kind?
I see the road to tomorrow in the haze!

On the Senate floor they congregate
Many pockets lined with green,
From those behind the scenes, yeah they take the bribe (it's on the side)
A sign of the times, Sign of the times
A sign of the times, Sign of the times

After coming to a musical climax with Promised Land we see this exceptional 80's metal band try to reinvent themselves into utter crap. This is one of the bareable songs on the album with sp00l being the clumsy best. This is so literal and obvious lyrically and musically that makes it just as painful as the fact the band is right.

I'm pretty sure the first stanza is sung as "You know it just ain't right", not "no, it just ain't right".

Like psuedin, I believe this has a pretty straight-forward meaning. However, this song is NOT crap. I eapecially like the violin outro.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
