I think this song is about someone telling you they love you, but they don't mean it. While you would give the world for them, they never had the same feelings, and now that you've come to the realization of that, and that they really don't love you, the relationship is over. Awesome song.
actually, i do believe the song is about their girlfriend cheating on them whilst proclaiming her love still. nod yes.
