What a great straightforward song to describe the pitiful state a man can find himself in when a relationship goes in the shitter and he still has (or thinks he has) feelings for the woman.
I listened to this song many a time back when it came out while going through my first divorce and I now kick myself in the ass for feeling that bad and not getting over it sooner! :)
