It should be noted that nearly all the lyrics from this song came from one of Pete's demos "Popular", where instead of "It's hard, it's very very etc." he goes on to say "I just wanna be popular" about four times.

Anyway, it's an alright song. Better than some of the songs on the album, which isn't saying much.

Don't imagine many people have or will look this Who song up? Pete Townsend is one of my favorite writers but ya' know? Why this song? You? It's six amazing lyrics for me. "ANYONE CAN STOP, FEW CAN WAIT". Experience Death, Divorce, Drugs, Diagnosis and or Dysfunction in life and those six words hold a vital key to growth and understanding and for me, left me looking up. Chicago "I've Been Searchin' So Long" and Jesus took me the rest of the way. Peace out. :) all from six words and it only took me 50 years to find Him. and the church said? :) Amen.
