nice work corey taylor! i love slipknot, and this really shows alot more about corey. one of the most well-rounded singers out there. its usually you can sing, not scream, or scream and not sing. but this mother fucker has proved everyone wrong. hes great at both!
I think I'm going through exactly what this song is trying to say. Orchids are philosophically phallic symbols: they represent sex, and the seeds can be ground into a highly-intoxicating drug. I think the meaning is that Corey/the object of the song is addicted to someone, maybe for sexual gratification or just to feel wanted, yet he knows no good will come of it, and he can't help it.
It's about someone who doesn't really like him but stays around just to keep him happy, but its had the opposite effect instead. They tell him what he wants to hear ("you feed me orchids...") but they're actually planning how to ditch him. The line "I never learn" implies that it keeps happening to him and he falls for it every time. Great song, Stone Sour are amazing.

ythis is so much like me, like kellio said its about people sticking around just to keep him happy, just to say they were there, they "feed me orchids" or compliments to make me happy, but its just empty and makes the pain worse. And as this song, I never fuckin learn, never....
i think it has something to do with the way i think. no one does anything for anyone else no matter how hard they try to convince themselves they are. like, the person coreys talking about makes him believe they care care for him when all theyre doing is making themselves feel better by not leaving him like everyone else did. kinda like his own way of saying dont pity me.

this song reminds me of people who are two faced for some reason, people who'd rather compliment u but then disrespect you in the same way, if that makes any sense.
