Crusher Destroyer Lyrics
Lesson
The honoring innstinct of animal
Pressure
No blame on the red bull
Throw fury at him
Aim Gorge and Win
Less contenders on the way today
Let them pay
Nothing lost
Nothing gained
Listen
Here lies the warning for the matador
Blackout
Blood running on the dirt floor
Won't bleed by accident
Burn your game plan
The honoring innstinct of animal
Pressure
No blame on the red bull
Throw fury at him
Let them pay
Nothing lost
Nothing gained
Here lies the warning for the matador
Blackout
Blood running on the dirt floor
Won't bleed by accident

this song is about the bull getting his revenge on the matador who is making the bull go where he wants. The bull kills that fruity little spannish dude, because he has been stabbing the bull. Pretty much like a kid getting revenge on his parents for pushin them around their whole lives, or an employee tellin his boss "F**K YOU" and quitting. its about getting even basically.
Amazing......but it cant top any Today is the day song.
The warped, violent-sounding guitar part is meant to symbolize the bull goring the guy.
i LOVE this song too!!!! and and and EVERY OTHER mastodon song!! hahaha but this song hypes me up, gets me feeling tough before i do percussion at competitions for marching band. even though thats like the "gayest" thing ever to people. this is a true metal song nonetheless.
Seems like a general revenge song to me. The literal sense of course being the bull and the matador, but everyone has their own matador, someone or something stabbing at them constantly, and this is about getting revenge on that someone or something.
so i finally just picked up remission, and just listened to that track for the first time ever (though i've heard lots of other tracks off remission in the past). i have to ask, was that a sample of the t-rex from jurassic park at the beginning?! so awesome.
Actually, the T-rex roar might fit in with the general revenge theme, since that roar is one of the main parts of a scene in which the T-rex claims a revenge of sorts upon what it probably believes are its captors
I gotta say i prefer Mastodon.
