Blotter Lyrics
I couldn't bear it, couldn't bear it if you leave
It doesn't matter, doesn't matter if I scare you
I only wanted, only wanted someone else's skin
Touch my face
Keep me whole
Help me see my life
Give me your life
I haven't ever, haven't ever been discreet
It isn't over, isn't over by a long shot
I didn't wanna, didn't wanna be the only one
To feel you there
Touch your face
Keep you whole
Help you see my life
Give me your life
I want to turn you into this
I want to give you all my nothingness
I want to cover you with this
Let me see, my life
Give me - your life
this is song is my vaourite by stone sour, the way the heavy and melodic parts of the songs blend together is just so awesome, also love that bass line, the lyrics are so well written as well...A+
This song is about Acid..a blotter of acid Incredible and chemical
Hmmm Absolute_Zero, it does make sense, well sort of. Acid makes you want to touch and get touched, and feel and explore both physically and mentally. There's an eerie similarity in what you want to do on acid, but can't, cause making love while your tripping is nearly impossible, and what you want to do with you're love, but won't because of you're inhibitions...
my curiosity is about the gibberish intro at the beginning of the song. I think I heard it was a real voicemail that one of Cory’s friends left for him and he died shortly after. Have you ever heard anything like that before? Any truth to it?

I think this songs a reference to serial killer Ed Gein, the same man characters such as Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and, I'm not sure, but I think his name was Buffalo Bill from SIlence Of The Lambs. Mudvayne wrote a song about him called Nothing to Gein. He was a transexual who would kill women, skin them and turn their skin and body parts into clothing. Over the course of the song it seems as if he's telling them he wants to take their life and have it for himself, which is what Ed Gein wanted. Look into it and it makes sense.

It's a song about a serial rapist. He's crazy with lust and desire, thinking it's love. He wants to feel someone else next to him, and the sensation is physcically amazing. He doesn't care about scaring her, cuz he just needs to have her to feel better about himself. Then in the end he kills her. "Blotter" could refer to the police blotter that reports his crime/arrest in the newspaper.
This song is badass.
god I love this song, its pretty deep, its also one of my favorite songs of all time, listening to stone sour isnt like listening to other bands.... its somehow different. These lyrics are amazing.
ok ryo, u seem to have the mentality of a ing 8 year old. if u even listened to either of them you would hear that slipknot and the only reason they sound remotly alike is becuase they have the same vocalist, and your a ing dumbass. the lyrics in this song and all other stone sour songs actually mean sonething, other than the rap or punk that you probably listen to, so you have nothing to say until you learn something
people are entertaining when they fight...dont ya think?!! EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN OPINION....LET IT GO!!!!!!
first of all ryo, slipknot and stone sour sound nothing alike. you tell me one similarity between "Inhale" from Stone Sour and "Only One" or "Prothetics" from Slipknot other than that Corey sings them. "Inhale" is mellow and the slipknot songs, well... they aren't. And so you know, Stone Sour has a DJ in some of their songs. Listen to their CD all the way through and you will hear it. Know your shit before you talk it.
