I imagine that Tommy must have taken acid to write this song, as it sounds like he was having a good trip at the time (I've never taken acid, mind) and seeing all these weird images. It's kind of a twisted nursery rhyme sort of song. He's trying to rap but doesn't do it too well in a scouse accent.
Personally I'm quite happy with his accent since I can actually, y'know, make out what he's saying whereas I usually can't with rap :) Love the bit about Mickey Mouse's hang-ups.
it doesn't seem so much like an attempt at rap to me.. but it is a good meaningful song like every other space song.. not as good as lovechild of the queen, mind you..
