S-CONSCIOUS Lyrics
Why can't you understand ?
Why don't you smell a rat ?
Though, it is too noisy around you.
Why don't you speak something ?
Why do you keep silent ?
Nobody is in their right mind.
Why don't you think further ?
Why can't you suggest idea ?
Nobody has a difference in appearance…
Have ever been filled with joy ?
Why don't you be moved to tears ?
Though, there are beautiful sights around you.
Why are you ****ing ?
What's so funny ?
It's too funny of you ?
Why do you exist ?
What are you going to do about it ?
I don't know what will become of you.
Cut it out!
Cut it out!
Why me?
Why don't you smell a rat ?
Though, it is too noisy around you.
Why do you keep silent ?
Nobody is in their right mind.
Why can't you suggest idea ?
Nobody has a difference in appearance…
Why don't you be moved to tears ?
Though, there are beautiful sights around you.
What's so funny ?
It's too funny of you ?
What are you going to do about it ?
I don't know what will become of you.
Cut it out!
Why me?

i love this song. its confused. messy. and perfect. its like, the perfect image of my mind at times too.
That mystery word is either supposed to be "laughing" or "smiling..." but once again, Gackt's Engrish throws us all for a loop.
God this is one of those songs that you just have to listen to again. Im sure most of the lyrics mean something to Japanese listeners, but half the song im confused lol. I like Gackt's vocals in this song though, he manipulated them very well and he always blends with the theme of the song.
Kozi sings in this song I think
During their Merveilles De L'espace concert, Malice Mizer used military theatrics to visually portray both S-Conscious, and N.P.S. N.G.S. Thanks to Gackt's wonderful engrish, one can assume that the lyrics are from a soldier's point of view.
"Though it's too noisy around you," supports the war-theory, as the disorientation that arises from the torrents of bullets and screams confuses the soldier as his "S-Conscious" [Subconscious] begins to question him. Asking him why doesn't he "smell a rat"? All the questions are from the subconscious and are slowly torturing the soldier in the midst of his battle. Ending off with that universal expression of angst, "Why me?"
sounds like seiphering? I thought it was suffering originally, but meh, doesn't sound right.
