Don't Let The Rain Come Down Lyrics

the doctor’s in, he’ll see you now.
in quiet rooms, I am the sound.
and when the words pour out of me,
hands over ears protecting the family.
I didn’t mean to cause offence,
but language loses me my friends.
and you insult intelligence,
when you remove my need for common sense.

don’t let the rain come down.

I’ve said enough outside my door,
I stay in here it’s always warm,
I didn’t ask the rain to come,
too many senses, why won’t you strike me dumb.

don’t let the rain come down.

Cover art for Don't Let The Rain Come Down lyrics by BIS

The singer is seeking professional help, maybe because no one else will listen to him. Sounds like he's apologizing for what he says, but still he says it because he needs to get it out of his system. He could just be a nervous wreck, or someone with an anxiety disorder...seems to find the safety of his home to be a comfort from the "rain" outside. He didn't ask for these problems of his, or even the fact that the outside world bothers him.

Could be completely wrong, but thats how i see it.

BTW,Picked up the "Plastique Nouveau" CD on a trip to London! Was well worth the price!
