Cum On Feel the Noize (Slade cover)

Nope, you're even wrong. It's a Slade song. Quiet Riot covered it and made it big. Oasis version is the best though

What does this song mean to me? Well, I have a friend who refuses to listen to oasis on some kinda principle, so we put this on in her house, convinced her it was Slade and by the time she loved it, we told her who it was and she had to admit they're not that bad!!

So it took a Slade song to convince her? They couldn't convince her with one of their own songs? I've been in bands for a lot of years. The songs I have written totally suck but I can play other people's music very well. It's much easier to sound good covering someone else's music.

Slade always spells their tunes like that, how they sound when you say it. Excellent cover, like the Oasis version and Slade's orignal.

Seriously, type in "Oasis cum on feel the noize maine road 96" or something for the best version. One of the few songs I can say it sound sbetter live. Liam at his best.

Hated this song with a passion then finally listened to the best band in the worlds cover version and now I love it. What does noel say in the beginning of the song though I cant make it out.

i thought it was a twisted sister song. yeah i think its about sex. "So cum on feel the noize Girls rock your boys We'll get wild, wild, wild Til dawn" That says it all doesnt it? and look how they spell cum. BTW this is a great song

Noddy Holder got the lyric when Dave Hill said at a concert they were doing that you could 'feel the noise' because Slade had a reputation for very loud music. Noddy writes some amazing lyrics and it is a shame that Slade are most remembered for the xmas song rather than this and many of the other great songs they recorded. They were the most successful band of the 70s yet music history seems to forget this and Slade have never had the credit they deserve.
