the party's at it's end
a style is named and it's dead
there is no latest trend
i eat just what i'm fed...i'm eating
pump it up [x4]
to the top [x4]
there is no latest trend
the party's at it's end
[chorus]
if it's a new beginning, then i don't want to know
if its not worth pretending, then i don't want to know
i'm just so sick of listening, why should i want to know
i lost my 15 minutes on eurodisco
the musics in my head
i thought music was dead
give me the words i'll sing
but i can't feel a thing...i'm singing
move it up [x4]
just don't stop [x4]
the party's at it's end
a style is named its dead
there is no latest trend
euro disco
you're so disco
a style is named and it's dead
there is no latest trend
i eat just what i'm fed...i'm eating
pump it up [x4]
to the top [x4]
there is no latest trend
the party's at it's end
if it's a new beginning, then i don't want to know
if its not worth pretending, then i don't want to know
i'm just so sick of listening, why should i want to know
i lost my 15 minutes on eurodisco
i thought music was dead
give me the words i'll sing
but i can't feel a thing...i'm singing
just don't stop [x4]
the party's at it's end
a style is named its dead
there is no latest trend
euro disco
you're so disco

no other song can get me moving like this song does. :)
A little more thoughtful than I thought this song would be. Basically, by the time some genre gets a cute name and mainstream attention, it's dead. Whether the attention killed it (as well as the fame of whoever gets lumped into that genre, if the chorus is to be believed) or the mainstream's just slow, who knows. A few corrections: the first pre-chorus is "The party's at its end/A style is named, it's dead/There is no latest trend." Also, there's a chorus before the "Eurodisco/You're so disco" bit, as well as one after (that repeats through the fade-out).
I loved this track as soon as i first heard it - it also gets me moving (believe me there is a fair bit to move) It is slightly retro...
