Judy's Turn To Cry Lyrics

Now it's Judy's turn to cry
Judy's turn to cry
Judy's turn to cry
'Cause Johnny's come back (Johnny's come back, come back)
To me

Oh, when Judy left with Johnny at my party (my party)
And came back wearing his ring
I sat down and cried my eyes out
Now that was a foolish thing

repeat chorus

Well, it hurt me so to see them dance together (together)
I felt like making a scene
Then my tears just fell like raindrops
'Cause judy's smile was so mean

repeat chorus

One night i saw them kissin' at a party (a party)
So i kissed some other guy
Johnny jumped up and he hit him
'Cause he still loves me, that's why

repeat chorus

So Johnny gets to bang them both, but he still has anger management problems, as he's probably some asshole jock with a small dick. Lesley should kick his sorry ass to the curb.

@posterwithnoname I think it was also wrong for the singer to "use" another guy to make Johnny jealous. That guy didn't deserve to be attacked by Johnny.

i think its an interesting song. its a nice little follow-up to "it's my Party". Guess the question remaining is- "did she keep johnny or break up with him soon after getting him back?" and yes I know that lesley gore is a lesbian i'm reffering to the character in the song taking "johnny" back. but all in all this was and is a very good song done by a very good artist.

I love the fact that this is a sequel song. Kind of a rare thing I believe ? Can others here name some other sequel songs ?

I think the narrator / character of the song, and Johnny, deserve each other. He ditched her for Judy, so she uses another guy to make him jealous, and she is impressed when Johnny attacks him? I don't think Judy is totally innocent, but she and the other guy are better off not dealing with these two.
