Comin' Home Lyrics

We're two points collapsing, supercharged from the storm.
Sun drenched in our faces, too deformed.
Bliss with intent to see us peeling locust skins from the locust tree.
Hang on to these places she says to me.
Clearly in this afternoon, clearly we will have to turn and come home soon.

She fell into me a point collapsing with her lovely face in the snow.
The mission could be corrupted, and we wouldn't know.
(And we wouldn't know.)

My baby reaches for the sound, I've got my feet against the ground.
My baby reaches for the sound, I'll take you anywhere you know.
Loving me more as you see us peeling locust skins from the locust trees.
Hang on to the faces she screams to me.
Too clearly in this afternoon, clearly we will have to turn and come home soon.
Clearly in this afternoon, and clearly we will have to turn and come home soon.

To me this is about being completely lost in love with somebody... Anything could happen and you wouldn't even realize it...

To me it means that it's two people so immersed in eachother that they don't want their time together to end. It's wanting to be oblivious to everything but hating the thoughts of limits.

This song reminds me of my childhood. In our back yard, we have two big locust trees, and one of my favorite things to do in the Summer was... Collecting cicada shells. Cicadas=locusts!

I was listening to a live bootleg and he said this song was about a girl who is a spy and she is on a mission to find a bug and she takes the fluid from the bug and she injects it into her own body , but its a wierd protein , and theres another person (who is another spy) with a another bug with the other half of the protein and they both have to go to a facility and they combine the fluids when the fluids have been taken out and it creates a perfect amino acid and they think it will creates eternal life and then they rock... ;)

Also watch the video, you see the spy and you see her take the fluids and all that jazz, so it pretty much is the right meaning! :-)
