I remember hearing this for the first time and thinking someone really must have liked the Indigo Girls' "Closer to Fine" and thought it was worth copying. I guess there was no lawsuit over it, but it seems like there could have been.
I don't think you can copyright song titles. Least, I read that somewhere. Look at how many songs there are called "Photograph." And there's at least two songs called "Love Me Do"

This is an amazing song. Its meaning is very important given the world that we live in today where the Supreme Court of Fools wants to take your rights away, the Republicans who always spouted off about small government wants to control every thing you do and say. Closer to free is a good goal to have.
Paradoxically about the freedom that comes with being an adult and adult responsibility. You only get "closer to free" as you grow up.
