Double Dip Lyrics
and i'll hold you
between breathes
breathe into my lungs
cry when it hurts too much
i know, my love
the water's high, the water's high
i know my love
yeah and all
the love you get
while i stand on your blue shoulders
and scream into my lungs
yeah, but first, but first
know what you've done
what you done
what you done

the guy will be happy to be with her but she must first realize what had she done

This is one song I've never been able to even come close to figuring out, and I think that might just be how it is. Even though it doesn't really have a particular meaning, there's so much emotion crammed in to it. Listening to it brings back a lot of powerful and familiar feelings for me, but it's really more the sound and the mood of the song than the words.
There's something about the song that seems really "final." I don't know if I'd say that it has anything to do with death, but I get this sense of limited time and impending dread. Something really tragic is going on in this song, but I cant place my finger on it. But it also seems like this is a sort of tender moment between the two people, but... Yeah, there's just too much in this song to really be able to know what's happening or what it means.
